Your HOA is having a party!!! Come get to know and join your neighbors for an afternoon filled with food and games for the kids with prizes. The HOA will provide the Hamburgers, hot dogs with fixings and non-alcoholic beverages.

Please show off your cooking skills with a side dish or dessert for your neighbors to try. Don’t forget your lawn chairs.

Please RSVP to treasurer@rainiervisa.info with how many adults, how many and ages of kids and the side dish you will be bringing.

We’re having our first annual neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt! It will be held Saturday, March 27th, from 1-2:30 PM, at the large neighborhood park (across the bridge).

• 1 PM: Crafts and pictures with the Easter bunny
• 2 PM: Easter Egg Hunt!

Festivities will be held rain or shine. Please have each child bring a basket for the egg hunt.

The next meeting will be on Monday 12th October at 7.00pm. The meeting will be at the City Hall offices in Covington (near PetCo). Due to the fact that we did not reach quorum at the Annual Meeting on September 19th nominations for three board positions will be taken at this meeting if 30% of the homeowners attend. If you are interested in standing for a position on the Board contact John Crevling at president@rainiervista.info or come along to the meeting. If you cannot make it, but want to register your vote download the Proxy voting form.

Road Paving
You should have received a flyer outlining the planned clean up and paving of the roads during the week of September 21st. Download the schedule and map.

Letters have been sent out to every homeowner setting out the details of a special assessment to help us cover the cost of maintaining the communal areas, such as the curb strips on 240th. This is something that the Board was reluctant to do, but hope that this will enable us to get these areas looking better.

Thank you to all the people who attended the Annual Meeting. It was a really useful meeting that gave the Board the opportunity to hear about the priorities for homeowners for 2009.
